Youtube has been one of the most influential websites of the decade. With thousands of videos being uploaded every hour of the day, and billions of subscribers and viewers all over the world, it is no doubt that the impact of the site has changed a lot of lives in one way or another.

In the last couple of years, countless artists has created and uploaded videos to the site, hoping to share their talent to the world. Eventually, the simple act of going online and uploading your work has opened up to more opportunities to these people, providing bigger careers outside their channel, and apparent venturing on becoming a bigger name in their respective fields. Justin Bieber, Charice Pempengco, and Christina Grimmie are some of the biggest names that has been "produced" by Youtube.

Last week, a friend of mine and I had the privilege to watch Sam Tsui and Kurt Schneider live when they visited the country. I'm not a huge fan, but I have always adored Kurt Schneider's prowess when it comes to arranging music, and Sam Tsui's powerful voice. I even had a crush on Sam Tsui back in the days when he was still belting Michael Jackson's hits -- but I've already came to pass that stage.

Karen and I + some snippets from the concert

I must admit, we really enjoyed the concert even if we're struggling to catch up with the lyrics of each mash up. Their music was really eargasmic, with arrangements and covers that are exceptionally good. My personal favorite was when Sam Tsui sang "Bring Me The Night". I don't really know the song (got to listen to it a couple of times before though), but surely, it has became my favorite part of the show. Sam belted out a lot of pop hits and crazy dance moves, while Kurt has been more on the serious part of the show, concentrating on playing in his instruments while having fun. I'd love it more if Kurt talked more as well (Team Kurt all the way!)

Forgive the low resolution pics. Love, love, love Sam & Kurt!

Anyway, to celebrate the power of Youtube and my love for A LOT of Youtube artists, I've created a short playlist that includes some of my favorite songs from great artists that has started out from Youtube. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! :)
